This course is delivered in one full day and covers the following:-

• Waste as a resource – what is waste?
• Environmental impact of Waste
• Cost of Managing waste
• Understanding and applying the Waste Hierachy
• Waste legislation and compliance with the Law

Who should do this course:-

Anyone new to waste or who wants to learn about what is waste and how it affects running a business.

This course results in a formal certificate valid for 3 years upon completion of multi choice Open Book assessment.

This training session is delivered online via Microsoft Teams and also includes an additional non-vocational module on Ocean Plastic Waste, it's impact on the environment and how we as consumers can help reduce our reliance on plastic.
